There are many towns throughout our mountain regions from north to Cambridge, Morrisville, and Johnson areas and south through Stowe and onto the Sugarbush Mountain area of Warren and Waitsfield Vermont. There are many other smaller lovely towns throughout the area.
The Town of Cambridge includes the villages of Jeffersonville and Cambridge. Vermont is known for its historic covered bridges, and Cambridge is home to three: The Gates Farm Bridge, Scott Cambridge Bridge, and the Cambridge Junction. Cambridge is a contemporary old farm town with new homes cropping up all over the region in former orchards and farmlands. Historic homes and buildings remain, retaining the old New England charm this area has come to be known for.
Stowe hosts a number of events in the summer season like Spring Art on Park, the Vermont Renaissance Fair, British Invasion Automobile Show, a hot air balloon festival, and Chowder Palooza. In the colder months, enjoy the Traditional Christmas Weekend and Winter Carnival. Nicknamed "The Ski Capital of the East," the town is home to Stowe Mountain Resort, offering skiing on both Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak and is open year-round with a number of seasonal activities, breathtaking views, and lodging.
The picturesque town of Waterbury is nestled in among the Green Mountains in Vermont's Central region. Waterbury prides itself on being a welcoming and inclusive community. You can find what you and your family desire from recreation to relaxation. Stroll the village shops and sample locally-sourced cuisine. Rather be out exploring? Grab your hiking gear and head for the mountains. If you prefer to be behind the wheel, explore the farms, mountains, and valleys with a scenic drive. In Winter, Waterbury becomes a wonderland for ski enthusiasts, snowmobilers, and cross-country skiers.
